Rep. Charles Boustany hosted the sixth annual Farm Day Forum in Youngsville on Thursday, February 23, 2012. The panel of experts gave local farmers and constituents an update as to the current issues and future state of agricultural commodities in South Louisiana. The keynote speaker of this year's Farm Day was Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), Vice Chairman of the House Agricultural Committee. He relayed the latest news with regard to this year's Farm Bill and stressed the importance of agriculture to our nation's communities and families.
