Crenshaw Fights to Fund Government, Manages Bill to Give DC Ability to Use its Own Money
October 2, 2013
In a continuing fight to fund the government, Congressman Ander Crenshaw, Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government (FSGG), addresses the House (10/1) before debate on legislation to provide the District of Columbia with the ability to use its own funds. The FSGG Subcommittee has oversight over the District of Columbia. House Democrats later voted down the measure as well as separate legislation to provide veterans benefits and open national parks and museums.
