Chairman Hensarling (R-TX): “The president’s policies have failed. It’s time to enact the House Republican Plan for America’s Job Creators. It’s time to repeal the CLASS Act.”

- National debt totaling $15 trillion and surpassing the size of America’s entire economy
- First-ever credit downgrade (AAA to AA+) in nation’s history
