The number one issue on the minds of the American people is creating jobs. Unfortunately, Washington Democrats appear more concerned about saving their own jobs than creating new ones for the American people. With an opportunity to stop a record tax increase scheduled to hit taxpayers in January and cost the nation untold jobs, House Democrats instead adjourned Congress early this year so they could spend extra time on the campaign trail. Washington Democrats simply have no answers for Americans asking, “where are the jobs?” Meanwhile, Republicans have offered a real plan to provide economic certainty and job creation with a Pledge to America.
