Have you been paying attention to what Republicans have done through America Speaking Out? From project headquarters:
Whether on radio, over the phone, online, or in person, House Republicans are encouraging the American people to speak out and make their voices heard in the creation of a new policy agenda for America. With nearly 300,000 unique visitors to AmericaSpeakingOut.com in just the first two weeks, it’s clear that Americans are ready to engage in a dialogue of ideas to solve our nation’s challenges.
Unfortunately for many, though, Democrats in Congress still aren’t interested in listening. After a year and a half of ignoring the will of the American people by pushing forth massive spending packages, a National Energy Tax, and a government takeover of health care, it seems Democrats in the House of Representatives remain firmly opposed to embracing the voices of the people.
House Republicans held townhalls, spoke with constituents and engaged the American people during Memorial Day weekend. They are actively listening and encouraging Americans to speak out. A few House Republicans that participated in this effort last weekend include Reps. Brett Guthrie, Jeb Hensarling, Dave Camp, Mike Pence, Paul Broun, Buck McKeon and Kevin McCarthy.
From ASO: "Unlike Democrats, House Republicans do not fear the voices of the American people, they welcome them. Americans are hungry to speak out, and while Democrats continue to take cover, House Republicans are providing forums for them to be heard."
