GOP Dominates on Twitter

House Republicans have done a great job increasing participation on Twitter. According to a report released by the Congressional Research Service, Republicans double Democrats in posession of Twitter accounts. Politico reports that "congressional Republicans posted 932 messages — or tweets — compared with 255 for Democrats, CRS analysts found."

Some of the most active House Republicans include Rep. Patrick McHenry (NC), Rep. John Culberson (TX), Rep. Mike Pence (IN), Rep. Jason Chaffetz (UT) and Rep. Dan Burton (IN), among others.
