Rep. Phil Roe (TN) sent a letter to President Obama recently accepting the President's invitation to Members of Congress to "go over line by line" what is in the health care bill. In the letter, Roe writes:
I am writing to accept your offer yesterday from your health care town hall meeting in Raleigh to “come over to the White House and go over line-by-line what's going on.
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs responded to Roe's letter at a recent press conference, saying “If you give me that letter I'll forward it to scheduling so we can get that done.”
Roe, who was a doctor for 31 years, appeared on Fox News' "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" to discuss the letter. He notes he has yet to receive a response from the White House. View that clip here.
