Rep. Roy Blunt (MO), chairman of the House Health Care Solutions Groups, released a statement following the President's Council of Economic Advisors report on health care costs:

“Republicans and Democrats agree that reducing health care costs would help our economy and most importantly help American families.  But no report or headline can take the place of a comprehensive plan – and that is what we have yet to see from the White House.

“The barebones details we have seen from the Administration and other side of the aisle do nothing more than set Americans up for the delayed or denied care patients in countries with government-controlled health care are currently experiencing.”
