"Let me be clear: We want the money back," says Congresswoman Judy Biggert. "AIG should return the money with or without the bonuses."

She expresess the belief that the bonuses probably wouldn't have been given had the federal government not been there bailing out AIG along the way.

"This is not the direciton that my hardworking, taxapying citizens want us to go. We can do better and we must do better," she said.
