Your Story, Your Life

It's easy to forget what brings politicians to Washington, DC. Most will tell you that the constituents in their districts motivate them politically. In "Stories from the Heartland," a new section on GOP.gov, we let the people tell their own stories. In a simple feedback form, GOP.gov users can tell us their story. Select stories are published online.

Already, people from Texas, Indiana, Nevada and Alaska have told us about their lives. What is your story? Every political decision has a direct or indirect effect on your life. In the midst of rough, economic times, we want to hear how you are doing. What keeps you going? How have the tough times produced character and strength in your life?

House Republicans care about your life. Have the bailouts and massive federal spending benefited you?

See you in the Heartland.
