On Thursday, August 1, 2013, the House will consider H.R. 2879, the Stop Government Abuse Act, under a closed rule.  The bill was introduced on July 31, 2013 by Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) and referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and the Committee on Judiciary.  Rules Committee Resolution H.Res.322 reported the bill to the House.

H.R. 2879 combines H.R. 1541, the Common Sense in Compensation Act, H.R. 2579, the Government Employee Accountability Act, and H.R. 2711, the Citizen Empowerment Act.
