On Thursday, December 19, 2012, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 6379, under a suspension of the rules requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage. H.R. 6379 was introduced by Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) on September 12, 2012, and was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, which took no official action on the bill.

H.R. 6379 would designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 6239 Savannah Highway in Ravenel, South Carolina, as the “Representative Curtis B. Inabinett, Sr. Post Office.”

Curtis Inabinett served on Charleston County Council, was mayor of Ravenel, SC, and also served in the South Carolina General Assembly, where he was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives.
