This legislation would designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 26 East Genesee Street in Baldwinsville, New York, as the "Corporal Kyle Schneider Post Office Building.”

According to Syracuse.Com, Cpl. Kyle R. Schneider, of Phoenix, Oswego County, died in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, killed by an improvised explosive device.  He was 23.  Schneider was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

According to CBO, any costs related to new post office designations, which include the cost of changing the name on the building, signs, and maps, are not significant.
