H.Res. 1603 is expected to be considered on the floor of the House on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, under a motion to suspend the rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage.  The legislation was introduced by Rep. Mike Ross (D-AR) on July 30, 2010.

H.Res. 1603 would resolve that the House of Representatives supports the designation of National Craniofacial Acceptance Month to encourage all citizens to become better informed of craniofacial conditions and advances in medical treatment.

According to the resolution’s findings, September 2010 would be an appropriate month to designate as National Craniofacial Acceptance Month.
