Senate Amendment to H.R. 1107 is expected to be considered on the floor of the House on Thursday, December 16, 2010, under a motion to suspend the rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage.  The House approved the original bill by voice vote on May 6, 2010.  The Senate approved H.R. 1107 with an amendment by unanimous consent on December 2, 2010.

Senate Amendment to H.R. 1107 would reorganize the U.S. code without making substantive changes to the law.  In particular, these amendments make changes related to Title 41 of the code (public contracts). 

 

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has not produced a cost estimate for this bill as of press time.
