H.Res. 6387 is expected to be considered on the floor of the House on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, under a motion to suspend the rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage.  The legislation was introduced by Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA) September 29, 2010.

H.R. 6387 would designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 337 West Clark Street in Eureka, California, as the "Sam Sacco Post Office Building".

According to CBO, any costs related to new post office designations, which include the cost of changing the name on the building, signs, and maps, are not significant.
