H.R. 6026 is expected to be considered on the House floor on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, under a suspension of the rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage.  This legislation was introduced by Rep. Steve Driehaus (D-OH) on July 30, 2010. 

The bill would direct the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to establish and maintain a single website that allows the public to view and obtain free electronic copies of congressionally mandated reports.

The bill would also require the head of each agency to provide OMB with an electronic copy of each congressionally mandated report

Finally, the bill would mandate that access to any report be provided within 30 days after its submission to Congress.
