H.Res. 6014 is expected to be considered on the floor of the House on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, under a motion to suspend the rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage.  The legislation was introduced by Rep. John Boozman (R-AR) on July 30, 2010.

H.R. 6014 would designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 212 Main Street in Hartman, Arkansas, as the “M.R. ‘Bucky’ Walters Post Office”.

William Henry "Bucky" Walters was an American Major League Baseball All-Star pitcher.  A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Walters played for the Boston Braves (1931–32, 1950), Boston Red Sox (1933–1934), Philadelphia Phillies (1934–1938) and Cincinnati Reds (1938–1948).

 

According to CBO, any costs related to new post office designations, which include the cost of changing the name on the building, signs, and maps, are not significant.
