On February 12, 2009, Continental Connection Flight 3407 crashed in Clarence Center, New York. 50 people were killed in the tragic incident near Buffalo. The victims include two pilots, two flight attendants, 45 passengers (including one off-duty pilot), and one person on the ground. The plane was en route to Buffalo from Newark, New Jersey. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
