Stan Lundine was born in 1939, in Jamestown, New York. He graduated from Duke University in 1961, and from the New York University School of Law in 1964. Lundine served as mayor of Jamestown between 1970 and 1976. From 1976 through 1987, Stan Lundine represented the Southern Tier of New York in the House of Representatives. After his service in the House, Lundine was the Lieutenant Governor of New York from 1987-1994, during Mario Cuomo's governorship.
