Brian K. Schramm served in Iraq and was 22 when he was killed on October 15, 2008, by enemy action in Babil province, Iraq. Schramm was from Rochester, N.Y. and was assigned to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
